“The loveliest place ever!!!!”
Reviewed August 22, 2011 We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 6 nights and we are so glad we did!! The place is simply amazing, like stepping back in time, as the owner, Kristen has done a wonderful job renovating it and making it look as it would have been some 500 years ago. We stayed at the Venetian room, on the top floor and really felt the atmosphere of that era. This means that there were wooden floors, arches leading into bathrooms and narrow stairs leading to the upper floors, all of which contributed to the magical atmosphere. The hotel was beautiful and Kristen the most amazing hostess you could ever wish for. She prepared us breakfast every morning (ask for her own muffins they are DELICIOUS) and was only too happy to suggest places of interest, like beaches and taverns (ask her about HOVOLI in Loutra). The hotel was clean and quiet and the village itself was beautiful. We'll definitely go back next year!!!! Thanks for everything!!! |
